About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly competent Offshore Installation Manager to oversee critical operations in the Oil & Gas industry . Based primarily offshore but with links to shore-based support in Glasgow, Scotland, UK , this leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant management of all activities on an offshore platform. You will lead a diverse team, ensuring adherence to stringent safety regulations, operational procedures, and environmental policies. This is a demanding yet rewarding position for an experienced leader who can manage complex logistical challenges, foster a strong safety culture, and drive operational excellence in a high-stakes environment, contributing directly to the success of vital energy production.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the offshore installation, adhering to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and lead a multidisciplinary offshore team, fostering a positive and safety-conscious work environment.
• Oversee all production, maintenance, and logistical activities on the platform.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and ensure team readiness.
• Manage budgets, resources, and personnel effectively to meet operational objectives.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Liaise with onshore management, regulatory bodies, and service providers.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in offshore oil and gas operations, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of offshore safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., offshore survival, first aid, H2S awareness).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with production operations, maintenance management, and logistics planning.
