Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and highly experienced Offshore Installation Manager to lead their installation projects from a remote command center, ideally located near Liverpool, Merseyside, UK . This critical leadership role involves the overall planning, execution, and safe completion of offshore construction and installation campaigns for oil and gas facilities. You will be responsible for managing all offshore personnel, assets, and operations, ensuring adherence to the strictest safety standards and project timelines. This is a demanding but rewarding fully remote position, allowing you to orchestrate complex operations from afar, leveraging technology and expert teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive offshore installation plans and schedules.
• Ensure all offshore activities are conducted in full compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations.
• Manage and lead all offshore construction teams, including supervisors, engineers, and trades personnel.
• Oversee the safe and efficient mobilization, operation, and demobilization of offshore construction vessels and equipment.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and logistics for offshore campaigns.
• Conduct daily operational meetings and provide regular progress reports to onshore management.
• Resolve operational issues and make critical decisions to ensure project success and personnel safety.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) in offshore construction and installation management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale offshore projects in the Oil & Gas industry .
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore construction techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to effectively manage teams and operations remotely, utilizing advanced communication systems.
