Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) to oversee all operations on their offshore platforms, supporting projects near Portsmouth . This critical leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound execution of all platform activities, including production, maintenance, and drilling support. You will lead a diverse team of offshore personnel, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best safety practices. This challenging position demands exceptional leadership, decision-making capabilities, and a deep understanding of offshore operations in the Oil & Gas industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the offshore platform, managing all personnel and activities.
• Develop and implement operational plans, procedures, and emergency response protocols.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, security, and environmental performance.
• Manage logistics, supplies, and contractor activities on the platform.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, promoting a proactive safety culture.
• Liaise with onshore management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure operational compliance and objectives are met.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in offshore oil and gas operations, with a significant portion in management or supervisory roles (e.g., OIM, Barge Super).
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex offshore operations and large teams.
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, environmental protection, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Relevant offshore survival certifications (e.g., BOSIET, FOET) and industry-specific training.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a demanding offshore environment.
