Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client requires a seasoned and safety-focused Offshore Installation Manager for their operations based out of Belfast . This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall management and safe operation of offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. You will lead a diverse team, manage operational budgets, and oversee all aspects of production, maintenance, and safety on the installation. This is a critical position demanding strong leadership, extensive offshore experience, and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence in the Oil & Gas sector .

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the offshore installation, adhering to strict safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Manage all personnel on the installation, including operations, maintenance, and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee all production activities, maintenance programs, and asset integrity management to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, controlling costs while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, company management, and external stakeholders regarding offshore operations.
• Lead emergency response efforts and ensure robust contingency plans are in place and regularly tested.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in offshore operations management within the Oil & Gas industry , with a minimum of 5 years in an installation manager or similar senior leadership role.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse workforce.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore safety regulations, operational procedures, and asset management principles.
• Strong understanding of production processes, maintenance strategies, and project execution offshore.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
