Offshore Installation Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and safety-conscious Offshore Installation Manager to lead operations on their key installations, coordinating from their support hub near Sunderland . This demanding role requires a strong leader responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of offshore facilities. You will manage all personnel, activities, and resources, ensuring that production targets are met while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental protection in the oil and gas sector. This is a critical leadership position for experienced offshore professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations on the offshore installation, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Manage and lead a diverse team of offshore personnel, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
• Develop and implement operational procedures and emergency response plans.
• Ensure the integrity and maintenance of all plant and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Manage logistics and supply chain operations for the installation.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and lead incident investigations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience (15+ years) in offshore operations, with a significant portion in management roles within the oil and gas industry .
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
• In-depth knowledge of offshore safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational best practices.
• Strong understanding of production operations, maintenance, and asset integrity.
• Valid offshore survival certificates and medical examinations.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
