About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and safety-focused Offshore Installation Manager to oversee operations on their North Sea installations, coordinated from their Leeds office. This critical leadership role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of offshore facilities, ensuring all activities meet stringent safety, environmental, and operational standards. You will lead a diverse team of offshore personnel, manage resources effectively, and serve as the primary point of contact for onshore management and regulatory bodies while offshore. This is a challenging yet rewarding position at the forefront of the Oil & Gas industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe execution of all offshore operations , adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the offshore installation team to achieve operational objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of facility integrity, maintenance, and emergency preparedness.
- Manage offshore logistics, including personnel transfers, supply chain, and waste management.
- Act as the primary liaison between the offshore installation and onshore management.
- Conduct regular safety audits and promote a strong safety culture across the installation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in offshore operations management, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas offshore operations, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Relevant offshore certifications (e.g., OPITO MIST, BOSIET).
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex operational challenges in a high-pressure environment.
