About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Wind Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge offshore wind projects in the Glasgow area. Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and analysis of offshore wind turbine foundations and structures.
• Conduct engineering assessments and provide technical support during the construction and installation phases.
• Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project success.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for offshore operations.
• Contribute to the ongoing optimization and performance improvement of existing offshore wind assets.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore engineering, preferably within the wind energy sector.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., CAD, FEA) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of structural integrity, hydrodynamics, and marine environments.
• Experience with offshore safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment in Glasgow .
