About the Role

Our client, a leader in sustainable energy solutions , is seeking motivated Offshore Wind Turbine Technicians to join their growing team supporting operations near Plymouth, Devon, UK . This challenging and rewarding role involves the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines located offshore. You will work in a demanding but highly collaborative environment, contributing directly to the UK's renewable energy targets. This is an on-site position, requiring resilience and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence in a unique maritime setting within the renewable energy sector .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on offshore wind turbines , including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using sophisticated diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of turbines, adhering to strict safety protocols and procedures.
• Respond to turbine alarms and emergency situations, executing corrective actions as required.
• Document all maintenance activities, findings, and corrective actions in the asset management system.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational objectives.

Requirements

• Recognized technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC) in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience working at heights and in an industrial or technical environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in challenging offshore conditions.
• Valid GWO Basic Safety Training certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
