Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Online Child Development Specialist to join their innovative, fully remote team, serving families in and around Leeds . In this vital role, you will provide expert guidance and support to parents and caregivers on child development milestones, challenges, and effective parenting strategies, all delivered through virtual consultations and digital resources. You will be instrumental in empowering families with the knowledge and tools needed to foster healthy development in their children, contributing to a positive and impactful remote service. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with parents and caregivers to discuss child development concerns and provide tailored advice.
- Develop and disseminate educational content, resources, and workshops on various aspects of child development via online platforms.
- Offer support and guidance on age-appropriate milestones, behavioral challenges, and learning strategies for children from birth to age five.
- Collaborate with a remote team of specialists to enhance service offerings and ensure holistic support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress.
- Stay current with research and best practices in child development and early childhood education.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Child Development, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct work with children and families, with a focus on development.
- Demonstrated expertise in developmental psychology, parenting strategies, and early intervention.
- Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in using video conferencing software and other digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a remote setting.
