About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Online Community & Engagement Lead to cultivate and grow vibrant digital communities. This key role, based in Plymouth , will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that foster strong relationships between our brand and its customers across social media and other online forums. You will act as the voice of the brand, driving meaningful conversations, managing online reputation, and transforming brand followers into loyal advocates. This position offers a chance to significantly shape our online presence in a collaborative, office-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for community building and online engagement.
- Manage and moderate all online community platforms, including social media groups, forums, and comment sections.
- Create and curate engaging content that sparks conversation and encourages user-generated contributions.
- Monitor online sentiment and brand mentions, responding promptly and professionally to feedback and inquiries.
- Identify and engage with key community influencers and brand advocates to amplify our message.
- Analyze community engagement metrics, report on key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Community Manager , Social Media Manager, or in a related engagement role.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Demonstrable success in building and nurturing online communities.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content strategy.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic community initiatives.
- Experience with community management tools and analytics platforms.
