Online Learning Facilitator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Online Learning Facilitator to join their fully remote team, contributing to educational programs for learners in and around Glasgow . In this part-time role, you will guide students through their online courses, foster engagement, provide academic support, and monitor their progress. You will act as a key point of contact for learners, addressing their queries and creating a positive and encouraging virtual learning community. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate online discussions and encourage active participation among learners.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and course activities.
• Respond to student inquiries and provide academic support via email, forums, and virtual meetings.
• Monitor student progress and identify learners who may require additional support or intervention.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive online learning environment.
• Assist in the evaluation and improvement of online course content and delivery methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a background in education or a related field is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a teaching, tutoring, or facilitation role, preferably online.
• Strong understanding of online learning platforms and virtual communication tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
