About the Role
Our client is searching for a highly skilled Operational Excellence Engineer to join their team, offering a fully remote working arrangement. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable improvements in efficiency, quality, and productivity across the organization. You will be responsible for assessing current operations, identifying areas for enhancement using data-driven insights, and implementing best practices and methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background, adept at collaborating remotely with diverse teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing operational improvements.
- Develop and deploy strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for optimization.
- Design and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track progress and drive accountability.
- Share best practices and provide training to promote a culture of operational excellence throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operational excellence , continuous improvement, or industrial engineering roles.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing complex improvement projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent remote communication, facilitation, and change management skills.
