About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Operations Director to lead and transform operational strategies for their key division based in Belfast , Northern Ireland. This critical leadership role involves overseeing all operational functions, driving efficiency improvements, managing large teams, and ensuring the successful execution of business objectives. You will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for setting the operational vision and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and operational performance across the organisation in Belfast .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine operational strategies to achieve long-term business goals.
- Direct and manage all operational departments, including supply chain, production, and logistics.
- Lead and mentor a team of operational managers and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and financial planning for operational activities.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and implement necessary adjustments to meet targets.

Requirements
- Substantial experience in a senior operational leadership role, such as Operations Director or similar.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and driving significant improvements.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and execution skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets.
- Expertise in process optimization and change management.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
