Operations Efficiency Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a driven Operations Efficiency Engineer to join their team in Belfast . This role is central to enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of our client's operational activities through the application of robust industrial engineering methodologies. You will be responsible for analysing existing workflows, pinpointing areas of inefficiency, and designing and implementing practical solutions that streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of operational processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise workflow, resource allocation, and productivity.
• Utilise Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive process enhancements and waste reduction initiatives.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of new processes.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational efficiency to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in an operations or industrial engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
• Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement in Belfast .
• Experience with project management and process implementation is essential.
