Operations Finance Business Partner

Operations Finance Business Partner

Northampton | £59,000 to £64,000 + Bonus

I'm currently working with an established, successful business within the manufacturing sector that is looking to appoint an Operations Finance Business Partner to join its finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting involved in the operational side of a business, working closely with stakeholders and using financial information to influence commercial decisions.

Rather than simply reporting on the numbers, you'll play an important role in understanding what's driving performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and helping operational teams make better financial decisions.

What you'll be doing

*

Working closely with operational and supply chain teams to improve financial performance.

*

Taking ownership of operational budgets, forecasting and monthly reporting.

*

Analysing production costs, logistics spend, overheads and operational KPIs.

*

Supporting CAPEX investment decisions, financial evaluations and ROI analysis.

*

Identifying cost-saving opportunities and challenging areas of overspend.

*

Providing financial insight and recommendations to senior operational stakeholders.

*

Supporting continuous improvement projects and business planning.

What we're looking for

*

CIMA, ACCA or ACA finalist or newly qualified accountant.

*

At least 3 years' relevant experience within a finance environment.

*

Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.

*

Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting.

*

Confidence communicating with stakeholders outside finance.

*

A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to challenge and influence decisions.

Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, operations or supply chain finance would be particularly advantageous.

What's on offer?

*

Salary between £59,000 and £64,000.

*

Bonus scheme.

*

Opportunity to work closely with operational leadership.

*

Genuine involvement in financial and commercial decision-making.

*

Scope to improve processes and influence business performance.

If you're currently working in management accounting, commercial finance or operational finance and looking for a role with greater business partnering responsibility, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation.
