Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee their manufacturing and distribution operations within the FMCG sector in Stoke-on-Trent . This pivotal role demands exceptional leadership skills to manage daily operations, optimize production efficiency, ensure quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for leading a diverse team, managing budgets, and implementing strategies that enhance productivity and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including production, warehousing, logistics, and quality control.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage operational budgets and capital expenditure plans for the Stoke-on-Trent facility.

Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar senior operational role within the FMCG industry .
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and lean methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems and operational performance metrics.
