Operations Manager – Facilities Management

Salary: £55,000 per annum Location: Heathrow Job Type: Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join a leading Facilities Management organisation, overseeing operations across a large and high-profile contract.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of the facilities management operation, ensuring high levels of service, compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day FM operations across the contract.

• Manage, motivate and support operational and engineering teams.

• Build strong working relationships with the client and key stakeholders.

• Ensure planned and reactive maintenance is delivered within agreed SLAs and KPIs.

• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and performance standards are maintained.

• Ensure all health & safety, statutory compliance and company procedures are followed.

• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Support contract reporting, budgeting and commercial performance.

• Manage issues effectively and provide proactive solutions to operational challenges.

• Drive a strong customer-focused culture across the site.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Facilities Manager or similar FM management position.

• Strong Facilities Management background within a complex or large-scale environment.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

• Strong understanding of health & safety, compliance and statutory requirements.

• Experience managing client relationships and multiple stakeholders.

• Commercially aware with experience managing KPIs, SLAs and budgets.

• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Experience within a critical, aviation, transport, corporate or similarly complex environment would be advantageous.
