Our client is seeking a hands-on and motivated Operations Supervisor to lead and manage daily production activities in their Belfast facility. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations on the shop floor. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of production staff, driving productivity, and upholding quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of manufacturing personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of all production equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports, communicating performance metrics to management.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures on the shop floor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
