The Opportunity

We’re delighted to be supporting a prestigious independent optical practice in Gerrards Cross renowned for its luxury eyewear collections, exceptional service, and clinical excellence.

This opportunity is for a Senior Optical Assistant to join their team, with flexibility to support other local branches when required. This role offers the chance to combine hands-on dispensing with added responsibility, acting as a key support within the practice in a beautifully presented, high-end environment.

Key Responsibilities

• ” Dispense premium eyewear and lens solutions tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
• ” Provide outstanding customer service that reflects the boutique reputation of the practice.
• ” Support the day-to-day running of the practice, assisting with team guidance and maintaining high standards throughout.
• ” Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient journey from start to finish.

What We’re Looking For

• ” Experienced Optical Assistant with strong dispensing knowledge.
• ” Previous experience working within a high-end or boutique practice is essential.
• ” Confident in supporting and guiding colleagues when required.
• ” Strong communication skills with the ability to build genuine rapport with patients.
• ” Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to achieving performance goals.
• ” Professional, polished, and committed to delivering a memorable patient experience.

The Package

• ” Salary: Up to 28,000 (depending on experience)
• ” Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week including Saturday
• ” Supportive and friendly working environment within a respected independent group
