Pallet Network Delivery Driver

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Pallet Network Delivery Driver to join their busy distribution hub in Sunderland . In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient collection and delivery of palletized goods across various routes within the pallet network. You will operate a rigid or articulated vehicle, ensuring timely and safe transit of freight, contributing significantly to the operational success of the network. Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver palletized goods to and from various customer locations and network hubs.
• Safely operate a rigid or articulated HGV vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any issues promptly.
• Plan daily routes effectively to ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within specified timeframes.
• Utilize electronic proof of delivery systems accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service during all interactions.

Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence .
• Driver CPC qualification and valid tachograph card.
• Previous experience working within a pallet network or similar logistics operation.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Sunderland area and wider region.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
