About the Role

Our client is recruiting a dedicated Pallet Network Operative to join their busy depot in Edinburgh . This role is essential for the smooth operation of our pallet distribution network, involving the efficient handling and sorting of palletized freight. You will work as part of a team to ensure that goods are moved, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a keen eye for detail, and be committed to maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and safety within the depot. Key Responsibilities

• Sort, move, and scan palletized freight according to network procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Operate relevant warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts (if certified).
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Report any damaged goods or operational issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure accurate tracking of all freight movements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
