About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and physically fit Pallet Network Operative to join their busy logistics hub in Glasgow . This role is critical to the smooth operation of the pallet network, involving the handling, sorting, and dispatch of goods. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that pallets are processed efficiently and accurately, meeting strict deadlines. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of performing manual tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming palletized goods, verifying against delivery notes.
• Sort and organize pallets according to destination and delivery requirements within the warehouse.
• Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load outgoing pallets onto delivery vehicles, ensuring correct placement and securement.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Accurately record pallet movements and update inventory systems.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
• Valid forklift truck license (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach Truck) is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and data.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
