About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking charity, is seeking a strategic and relationship-oriented Partnership Development Manager to drive significant growth through collaborative ventures. This fully remote role, supporting operations near Cambridge , will focus on identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations. You will play a key role in expanding the charity's reach, resources, and impact by building mutually beneficial relationships. The ideal candidate will be a proactive networker with a strong business acumen and a passion for social impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for partnership development to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify, research, and approach potential strategic partners, including corporations, foundations, and other non-profits.
- Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key contacts within partner organizations.
- Develop compelling partnership proposals and presentations tailored to potential partners' interests and objectives.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with the charity's mission and values.
- Oversee the ongoing management and stewardship of existing partnerships, maximizing their value and impact.
- Represent the charity at relevant industry events and conferences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in partnership development, business development, or corporate relations, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a natural ability to build rapport.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and relationship management tools.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving targets.
