About the Role
Our client, a respected organisation in the Charity & Voluntary sector, is seeking a strategic and proactive Partnership Development Manager to drive collaboration and growth in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK . This key role involves identifying, cultivating, and nurturing relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and other organisations to secure funding and support for our client's vital initiatives. Operating in a hybrid model, you will balance dedicated office time in Edinburgh with the flexibility to work remotely, maximising your reach and effectiveness in building strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential strategic partners, including corporations, grant-making bodies, and other non-profits, aligned with the organisation's mission.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective partners, highlighting mutual benefits and impact.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring clear objectives, deliverables, and reporting mechanisms.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners, fostering ongoing engagement and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership activities with programme needs and fundraising targets.
- Represent the organisation at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities in Scotland .
- Track partnership progress, measure impact, and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven track record in partnership development, business development, or fundraising, preferably within the charity sector .
- Demonstrated success in cultivating and managing strategic relationships with corporate and foundation partners.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the non-profit landscape and corporate social responsibility.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for partnership growth.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis.
