Partnership Development Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Partnership Development Officer to foster strategic collaborations in Sunderland . This role is crucial for expanding our client's reach and impact by forging strong relationships with corporate partners, foundations, and other organisations that align with our charitable mission. You will play a key part in developing mutually beneficial partnerships that drive fundraising, enhance programme delivery, and increase public awareness for the causes we support, working across both office and remote settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and cultivate new strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and community groups.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new partnerships and funding.
• Manage and nurture existing relationships with partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership activities with organisational goals and campaigns.
• Represent the organisation at networking events, conferences, and meetings in and around Sunderland .
• Track and report on partnership progress, outcomes, and ROI.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development , partnership management, or fundraising, preferably in the charity sector .
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the fundraising landscape and corporate social responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively in a hybrid model.
