Our client is seeking a strategic and proactive Partnerships Development Officer to join their expanding team, operating entirely remotely . This crucial role involves identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships with businesses, foundations, and other organisations to drive mutual growth and amplify the charity's impact. You will be instrumental in building strong, long-lasting relationships that generate new funding streams, enhance programme delivery, and increase overall visibility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled negotiator and relationship builder passionate about creating impactful collaborations for social good, from the convenience of their home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential strategic partners aligned with the charity's mission and objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for cultivating and managing corporate and institutional partnerships.
- Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring clear terms and mutual benefit.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key contacts within partner organisations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored partnership proposals and engagement plans.
- Monitor partnership performance, measure impact, and report on key metrics.
- Represent the charity at relevant networking events and forums.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, partnership management, or corporate relations, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, nurturing, and closing strategic partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the corporate social responsibility landscape.
- Ability to work independently, manage a diverse pipeline, and achieve targets in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in CRM software and standard office applications.
