The Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the workshop and customers receive the correct parts efficiently and accurately, while maintaining excellent stock control and administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and supplying parts for commercial vehicles
- Identifying the correct parts using electronic parts catalogues and systems
- Ordering parts from manufacturers and suppliers
- Serving workshop Technicians and retail customers
- Checking availability, pricing and delivery times
- Receiving and booking parts into stock
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
- Processing parts orders, invoices and associated administration
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure parts are delivered on time
- Identifying and ordering additional parts where required
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Keeping up to date with commercial vehicle parts and product knowledge
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous Parts Advisor experience - essential
- Experience within the commercial vehicle, HGV or automotive industry
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components
- Strong organisational
