Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of projects targeting Passivhaus certification.
• Utilise Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP) and other relevant software for design analysis and verification.
• Collaborate with energy consultants and engineers to achieve optimal building performance.
• Ensure seamless integration of airtightness, thermal bridge reduction, and high-performance insulation strategies.
• Produce detailed design documentation and specifications compliant with Passivhaus principles.
• Advise clients and project teams on the benefits and implementation of Passivhaus standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with proven experience in low-energy or Passivhaus design.
• Certified Passivhaus Designer or Consultant qualification is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of building physics, thermal performance, and airtightness principles.
• Proficiency in Revit and experience with energy modelling software, particularly PHPP.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• A portfolio showcasing successful high-performance building designs.
