About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to manage and oversee all aspects of their payroll function in Stoke-on-Trent . This vital role ensures accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, deductions, and tax liabilities, while maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation. You will be responsible for the integrity of payroll data and will work closely with HR and finance teams. This hybrid role offers a great balance between in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, ideal for a meticulous and dedicated payroll professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Process the end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with PAYE regulations, statutory deductions, and pension auto-enrolment.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to HMRC and other relevant bodies.
- Liaise with external payroll providers and internal departments as required.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
Requirements
