Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll for their employees in Bradford . This critical role involves ensuring all payroll runs are completed compliantly with current legislation, managing employee queries, and maintaining accurate payroll records. You will work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure a seamless payroll process. Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Manage new starter and leaver processes, including calculations for final pay.
- Administer statutory deductions such as PAYE, National Insurance, and pensions auto-enrolment.
- Respond to employee payroll queries efficiently and confidentially.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update system information as required.
- Assist with year-end payroll procedures, including P60 and P11D generation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar Payroll Administrator role, ideally within a busy environment.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, Xero Payroll, or similar).
- Up-to-date knowledge of current payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
