About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and accurate Payroll Administrator to join their finance and HR support team in Wolverhampton . This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and correct processing of all employee payroll, adhering to statutory requirements and company policies. You will manage payroll data, handle queries, and collaborate with internal departments to maintain accurate employee records. This is a crucial position for maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring compliance, offering a stable role within a supportive hybrid working environment where your accuracy and efficiency are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Process the end-to-end payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, tax laws, and pension auto-enrolment.
- Manage payroll adjustments, including new starters, leavers, and changes in employee details.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Reconcile payroll data and assist with payroll-related audits.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a payroll processing role.
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
- Proficiency with payroll software systems (e.g., Sage Payroll, Xero Payroll).
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
