Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire Start Date: 12th October 2026 End Date: tbc Role: Secondary PE Teacher Contract: Temporary, full-time Requirements: QTS required

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Tamworth for a two-week temporary placement.

The school is looking for a qualified PE Teacher who can commit to the full duration of the role, from 12th to 26th October 2026.

The Role

Teaching PE across the secondary age range Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning Supporting students to make progress and participate positively Working effectively alongside the school's existing staff

The Ideal Candidate

Holds QTS Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills Can commit to the full two-week placement Is reliable, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with students
