About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and diligent Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator to join their production team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is essential for the efficient and safe production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensure adherence to production schedules, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) . The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic, committed to contributing to the reliable supply of critical medicines, working on the production lines in Stoke-on-Trent .
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including tablet presses, capsule fillers, and packaging lines.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) meticulously to ensure product quality and safety.
- Perform in-process checks and document manufacturing activities accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to GMP and safety regulations.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or deviations from standard processes to supervisors.
- Assist in material handling, staging, and setup for production runs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food industry.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and aseptic techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions and SOPs.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required to meet production demands.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
