Our client is looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Packaging Engineer to join their team in Plymouth . Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct package testing (e.g., stability, transit, integrity) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to optimize packaging processes.
- Evaluate and select appropriate packaging materials and equipment.
- Troubleshoot packaging line issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all packaging designs and materials comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging engineering, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, machinery, and testing methods.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical cGMP and regulatory requirements related to packaging.
- Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects in Plymouth .
