Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions for pharmaceutical products.
• Conduct package testing (e.g., stability, transit, integrity) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to optimize packaging processes.
• Evaluate and select appropriate packaging materials and equipment.
• Troubleshoot packaging line issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all packaging designs and materials comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging engineering, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, machinery, and testing methods.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical cGMP and regulatory requirements related to packaging.
• Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects in Plymouth .
