About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their manufacturing operations team in Leeds . This role is integral to optimizing and scaling up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. You will work on designing, implementing, and validating new manufacturing technologies and improving existing processes to meet increasing demands. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including scale-up activities.
- Develop and execute process validation protocols and reports to ensure equipment and process performance meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and process implementation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Ensure all process activities comply with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, unit operations, and sterile processing.
- Experience with process validation, IQ/OQ/PQ, and technology transfer.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
