Pharmaceutical Production Operator

About the Role

Our client is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pharmaceutical Production Operators to join their manufacturing team in Liverpool . This is a hands-on role focused on the efficient and safe operation of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. You will be responsible for executing production batch records, maintaining a clean and compliant manufacturing environment, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their career in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector, contributing directly to the production of essential medicines. You will be an integral part of a dedicated production unit working in a key industrial hub in the North West of England.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including mixers, granulators, tablet presses, and packaging machinery.
• Follow batch manufacturing records (BMRs) precisely, ensuring accurate execution of all production steps.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the production areas, adhering to GMP guidelines.
• Perform in-process checks and record data accurately, reporting any deviations or issues to supervision.
• Participate in equipment cleaning, setup, and basic maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Understanding of GMP principles and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
• Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for standing and performing repetitive tasks.
