About the Role

Our client, a significant manufacturer in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a diligent and reliable Pharmaceutical Production Operator for their facility in Portsmouth . You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, ensuring that products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including mixers, tablet presses, and packaging machines, according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Follow batch manufacturing records precisely to ensure accurate production of pharmaceutical products.
• Perform in-process checks and tests to monitor critical process parameters and product quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict hygiene and safety regulations.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, deviations, or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
• Assist with material handling, including the weighing and dispensing of raw materials.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs accurately.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene principles.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that may involve standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills required for record-keeping and measurements.
