About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to manage operations at their manufacturing site in Portsmouth . This essential on-site role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will lead a team of production operators, troubleshoot production issues, and work to meet production targets while adhering to strict GMP regulations. This is a hands-on leadership position critical to the successful output of vital pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of the production team to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing.
- Monitor production processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all manufacturing activities are performed in compliance with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Train and mentor production operators on equipment operation, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Planning departments to optimize production flow.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong understanding of GMP principles and pharmaceutical production processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with production equipment and process validation is advantageous.
