Pharmaceutical Production Technician

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated Pharmaceutical Production Technician to support their manufacturing operations in Nottingham . You will be responsible for operating and maintaining pharmaceutical production equipment, following strict batch manufacturing records and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This hands-on role is essential for ensuring the efficient and compliant production of high-quality pharmaceutical products, contributing directly to the supply of medicines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment according to batch records and SOPs.
• Perform in-process checks and record data accurately to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all GMP and safety guidelines.
• Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Identify and report any deviations, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical qualification is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Understanding of GMP principles and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work accurately under supervision.
• Good manual dexterity and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work shifts as required.
