Pharmaceutical Production Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Pharmaceutical Production Technician to join their manufacturing facility in Reading . This hands-on role is essential for the successful production of high-quality pharmaceutical products, adhering to strict manufacturing standards. You will operate and maintain production equipment, ensure process adherence, and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of production machinery.
• Ensure all production activities comply with GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Accurately record production data, batch records, and quality control checks.
• Identify and report any process deviations, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues.
• Work collaboratively with production supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals or a related regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) .
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures precisely.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
