Pharmaceutical Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in the successful execution of key pharmaceutical projects in Sheffield . This role requires a strong understanding of the drug development lifecycle, from early research through to commercialization. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. The ideal candidate is adept at stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and fostering collaboration to achieve project objectives. This hybrid role offers a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, supporting project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and task delegation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry) or Business Administration. PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of the drug development process and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
