About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to lead their QA operations in Milton Keynes . This senior position is responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products meet stringent quality standards and comply with national and international regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing audits, and driving a culture of quality throughout the organization. This is a key leadership role for an individual passionate about quality and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical sector, contributing significantly to product safety and efficacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Oversee and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with GMP and other relevant standards.
- Lead investigations into quality deviations, root cause analyses, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Ensure all pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing processes comply with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the release of finished products, ensuring they meet all specifications before distribution.
- Train and mentor QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related life science discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA, MHRA).
- Proven experience in managing audits, CAPA systems, and QMS implementation.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
