About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee their quality systems at their facility in Cardiff . This senior role is responsible for ensuring that all operations comply with regulatory standards and internal quality policies, maintaining the integrity of the pharmaceutical products. You will lead a team of QA professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and be a key point of contact during regulatory inspections. This position demands a meticulous approach, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with regulatory expectations.
- Manage and conduct internal audits and host external regulatory inspections (e.g., MHRA, FDA).
- Oversee deviation management, CAPA implementation, and change control processes.
- Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards across all manufacturing and laboratory operations.
- Lead, train, and develop the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Significant experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations and quality systems.
- Proven experience in managing audits, inspections, and quality investigations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
