Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality operations in Belfast . This leadership role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and compliance of our client's pharmaceutical products and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and all relevant regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of quality principles within the pharmaceutical sector, contributing significantly to the company's commitment to excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for pharmaceutical operations.
• Oversee and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Manage the Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) teams, providing guidance and professional development.
• Investigate deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and manage change control processes.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and other critical quality documentation.
• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory inspections and customer audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Thorough understanding and practical application of GMP , GDP, and relevant international regulatory guidelines.
• Proven experience in managing audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
