Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to lead their Quality Unit in Reading . This senior role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with GMP and other relevant regulations. You will lead a team of QA professionals, oversee audits, manage deviations and CAPAs, and drive a culture of quality across the organization. This is a pivotal position that demands a strong understanding of pharmaceutical quality principles and a proven ability to manage quality operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance and development.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage the deviation, CAPA, and change control processes.
• Ensure all pharmaceutical activities comply with GMP and other applicable regulatory standards.
• Review and approve batch records, validation documents, and other critical quality-related documentation.
• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory inspections and customer audits.

Requirements

• Master's degree or equivalent in a scientific or technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry .
• Proven experience in managing a QA team and overseeing a QMS.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
