About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous and experienced Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance quality systems within their Manchester facility. This critical role ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including GMP, ensuring the integrity and safety of pharmaceutical products throughout their lifecycle. You will lead a dedicated QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and rigorous adherence to quality protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with GMP and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, providing direction, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee batch record review, release processes, and deviation investigations.
• Conduct internal audits and host regulatory inspections (e.g., MHRA, FDA).
• Manage change control procedures and risk assessments to ensure product quality and safety.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory affairs departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Assurance or Quality Control.
• Extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Experience in managing QA teams and successfully leading regulatory inspections.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
