Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client, a key player in the pharmaceutical manufacturing landscape, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their team in Norwich . This role is fundamental to ensuring the quality and integrity of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products by conducting rigorous analytical testing. You will operate sophisticated laboratory equipment and adhere strictly to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using validated methods.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus.
• Accurately document all testing results, observations, and calculations in laboratory notebooks and LIMS.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, participating in root cause analysis.
• Prepare reagents and solutions, and ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Previous experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques common in pharmaceutical QC, such as HPLC, GC, and dissolution testing.
• Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a laboratory team.
