About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their expanding manufacturing facility in Manchester . This role is essential for ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of our pharmaceutical products through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work within a state-of-the-art laboratory environment, applying analytical techniques to test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and dissolution.
- Accurately document all testing procedures, results, and observations in accordance with GMP guidelines.
- Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for analysis.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including GMP and pharmacopoeial standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.
- Practical experience in a Quality Control laboratory setting, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency with analytical instrumentation, particularly HPLC and GC.
- Knowledge of GMP, pharmacopoeias (e.g., USP, EP), and laboratory safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures accurately.
- Excellent record-keeping and data integrity practices are essential for this role in Manchester .
