Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client seeks a meticulous Pharmaceutical Quality Control Analyst to join their established team in Coventry . This role is essential for ensuring the quality and compliance of manufactured pharmaceutical products. You will perform a variety of analytical tests, interpret results, and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of product integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using validated methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus.
• Accurately document all testing procedures, results, and deviations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and participate in root cause analysis.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to method validation and transfer activities as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) working in a pharmaceutical Quality Control laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC , GC, Karl Fischer titration, and dissolution testing.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, ICH guidelines, and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a regulated environment.
