Pharmacovigilance Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and observant Pharmacovigilance Officer to join their dedicated safety team based in Reading . This role is essential for ensuring the ongoing safety of their pharmaceutical products by monitoring, collecting, and assessing adverse event reports. You will play a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance and protecting public health. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, assess, and document adverse event reports from various sources.
• Ensure timely reporting of safety information to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in the review and maintenance of safety databases and relevant documentation.
• Support the preparation of aggregate safety reports, such as Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs).
• Collaborate with clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and medical information teams on safety matters.

Requirements

• Degree in a healthcare or life science discipline (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Biology).
• Experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines (e.g., GVP).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage data accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
